At Gordonbrock Primary School we are extremely proud of our school uniform. We believe that a school uniform is important. All children must wear the uniform and we encourage them to maintain a good standard of clean and tidy dress in school.
School Uniform:
Our uniform consists of:
- a purple Gordonbrock sweatshirt or cardigan with Gordonbrock logo
- polo shirts can be purple with Gordonbrock School logo or plain white
- grey school trousers / skirt / shorts / pinafores or purple gingham dresses
- tights can be black, grey, white or purple but no leggings
- sensible shoes for school i.e. with straps/ velcro / lace up fastening
- own choice of coats, jackets etc. suited to the season
- Gordonbrock book bag or rucksack with Gordonbrock logo
Children are not allowed to wear jewellery except for a small wrist watch and stud earrings
PE Kit:
Children in Reception and Years 1-6 require a kit which they can change into for PE.
Indoor PE
- Plain white, round neck short-sleeved t-shirt and plain black / navy shorts
Outdoor PE
- Autumn Term: plain white, round neck short-sleeved t-shirt and plain black / navy tracksuit bottoms or joggers and thier school sweatshirt (if it is cold) & velcro fastening trainers
- Spring & Summer Term: plain white, round neck short-sleeved t-shirt and plain black / navy shorts & velcro fastening trainers.
Please ensure that all items brought into school are labeled so that if they are mislaid, we are able to return them via your child’s class.

To calculate your child’s chest measurement: Measure the fullest part of the chest and across the shoulder blades. Let your arms hang down in a relaxed, natural pose. Do not puff out your chest or arch your back in any sort of pose that isn’t natural or sustainable.
Receiving Your Items:
Once the school office has received notification of your order it will be processed in one of two ways:
- For current pupils – your items will be sent home via your child’s book bag
- For new pupils – the school office will call you once your order is ready to collect and advise you on a suitable time for collection
Returns and Exchanges:
You are able to return purchased uniform as long as it has not been worn or washed and is not stained / marked or have any pet hair on it.
A refund for the returned items will be made to your original payment method. If you require an alternative (i.e different size) then another order will have to be placed online.
